Welcome to My Art Journey: A Testament to Resilience and Healing

Hello, I’m Matt. My art is more than just an expression; it's a lifeline and a narrative of overcoming incredible odds. Born from the necessity to stay grounded and heal, each piece I create carries the weight of my past and the hope of my future. I have no ‘formal’ training, I simply watched other artists create their work for inspiration. Everything is on a sliding scale, as in life…..

Art as Therapy

During the unsettling times of Covid, I turned to what I had at hand—simple art supplies at my kitchen counter. What began as a casual pastime to ward off boredom soon blossomed into a full-fledged passion, spreading creativity throughout my home. Art became my steadfast companion in maintaining sobriety through those strange times. Large doodle pads, that helped keep me sober.

My style? Juvenile? I describe it as “very abnormal abstract.” It’s experimental, driven by a process of trial and error, allowing whatever wants to flow through me. Each piece is a fragment of my journey, showcasing that even in randomness, there is a message, there is healing.

A Message Woven into Every Creation

Here I am, and I never quit.

That’s the essence of every artwork I share. If I can channel my struggles into something beautiful and helpful, so can you. My art isn't just for aesthetics—it’s a tool for connection, understanding, and healing. It may not be for everyone, but everyone can be supportive. We as a society must help each other.

Commitment to Supporting Healing

I am dedicated to using my art to support mental health and aid healing in everyone, men, women and children. This mission is woven into my creations, each piece crafted with the intent to inspire and facilitate recovery. Keep an eye on this space for more updates as I expand my efforts to reach more hearts and minds.

In Gratitude

Art has transformed my life, providing not only a therapeutic outlet but also a platform to express and share the complexities of human resilience. Stay connected as I continue to explore the depths of creativity and the heights of recovery.

I am donating a percentage of all profits (prints and leggings) to various charities. If we don’t help each other, we will not survive.

In gratitude,

Matt
